AGA launches responsible gambling hub

The American Gaming Association has launched a new online responsible gambling resource, the Play Smart Consumer Hub.
The hub is designed around AGA’s “Play Smart from the Start” campaign, which helps players adopt healthier gambling habits. The campaign builds itself on three core principles: a right state of mind, knowing the game, and acting intentionally.
“The AGA is committed to making responsible gaming a seamless part of the player experience,” Bill Miller, President and CEO of AGA, said in a news release. “Part of the fun of gaming is that everyone plays differently, but no matter how or where you play, staying in control starts with habits that work for you. The Play Smart Consumer Hub provides players with straightforward, actionable tools to help them stay in control and keep gaming fun.”
The AGA has included tools to help players game responsibly, including a Pre-Play Checklist allowing users to set personal limits, a Know the Game section providing information on certain gambling terms, and a Responsible Gaming IQ Quiz enabling players to evaluate their gaming habits.
The hub also offers operators an Industry Toolkit, including messaging guidance, creative assets, customer communication tips, and activation strategies to promote consistent responsible gaming practices.
